This is my full review on Treyarch's Call of Duty 5: World at War. I have also written a Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare review.

Alright, we're back to World War II, again. There is nothing wrong with my thoughts on World War II but we have been many games on the same war. I have gone off World War II games myself but others think they are fantastic so I won't be too hard. Treyarch have gone back to the World War II roots but have come up with some pretty sweat content. A good solid single player campaign, co-op play, massive multiplayer suite and a new, strang zombie killing mode. Treyarch have done a good job by sticking with the less popular area's of World War II instead of serving up an normal and D-Day filled World War II game. During the campign you may find some new places but some enviroments levels you may reconise. I am going to say this now that this game remains to be a Call of Duty game through out and through out the game. The sounds and graphics in this game are great and it makes it more realistic. At some points it comes to you controlling a gun ship of some kind and it seems to be a mirror of the Modern Warfare gun ship mission. The World at War campaign does suffer a bit because each mission can skip over months at a time. The sory mode doesn't seem to be a strong as it did in Modern Warfare and it doesn't help knowing how the war turned out. Compared to Modern Warfare this game isn't open to shocking twists and turns like Modern Warfare did. The World at War campaign isn't as long as it did in Modern Warfare but it doesn't drag on. The co-op campaign with up to 3 players is a great feature in World at War and there is also a Death Card system like the Halo 3 skull system. Death Card's are scathered all around the campaign in World at War which unlocks different capabilities. Multiplayer would have to be that makes World at War shine. Modern Warafre had one of the best multiplayer systems and Wolrd at War just builds onto that. The create-a-class and ranking system that lets you unlock new perks, weapons and upgrades. Some of the Modern Warfare perks at still in the game but changed but ajusted for the earlier age. There is lots of new perks and lots of them are accociated with vechicles for the four vechicle enabled maps. The tanks in World at War may be fun to drive but you realise how slow they where in the World War II-era. The kill reward in World at War is also simular to the ones in Modern Warfare but with a nice twist. Three kills in a row gets you a spotting plane rather than a UAV, five kills gives you an artillery strike instead of an air strike, and seven kills without dying lets you call in a new feature: dogs. Yes, you unleash a big pack of dogs also known as the hounds of war to run around and rip the throats out of people and you get the points. They can be difficult to kill as they attack in swarms, so killing one, there is always more attacking. Even if you are trying to kill the dogs around you, your not paying attention to the fact an enemy may still be linging you up in his sights. All the popular modes from Modern Warfare are back like Headquaters, Search & Destory and even Team Deathmatch. There are also two new mods in World at War called War and Capture-the-Flag. The icing on the cake is the new maode called Night of the Undead, it is also reffered as Nazi Zombies and its a last stand against waves of Nazi Zombies. World at War uses the same ngine as Modern Warfare and it looks every bit good on the PC as the Xbox 360. The level detail is great and World at War is overall a very great game and a very convincing World War II game. It does go back to the World War II times but Treyarch did it very well and it has plently to offer. This is a game that is worth your money if you are into Call of Duty games or the World War II based games.

Well.....You can have a crappy short review that wouldn't fill you with the information on why blah blah. Reading this one will feed you all the information that you need and then the rating part. I might make it a smaller but it would be sdort of hard. It can't be that hard to read...can it?
